Day 01 : Calicut
On your arrival at Calicut you are welcomed by our executives and transferred to a Beach Resort in Kappad. Kappad is famous for its beautiful and clean beaches. Here you can spend your day lazing and enjoying on the beaches. The Kappad beaches are also famous as the first entry point of European. Vasco de Gama, the famous Portuguese sailor landed here for the first time in India in1498. You stay overnight at Kappad beach resort.
Day 02 : Beypore
Today you visit Beypore, Kerala's oldest port and traditional wooden ship making industry. In Beypore you can watch skilled craftsmen working in the boat-building yard. The craftsmen here have been making these Marakalam's since the 18th Century. You stay overnight at Kappad beach resort.
Day 03 : Mahe
Today we drive to Mahe in Pondicherry. Here you are transferred to Ayesha Manzil, a heritage bungalow located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon you visit the fort and a mosque located in the city. You stay overnight at Ayesha Manzil.
Day 04 : Mahe
Today you visit a school known for its traditional dance and performing arts in Kerala. Here you can enjoy the dance performance of 'Thayum' and 'Kalari Pati'. You stay overnight at Ayesha Manzil.
Day 05 : Wayanad
Today we drive to Wayanad and check into Vythiri Resort, one of the most popular resorts of Kerala famous for its lush green rainforests. While at resort you can explore the verdant and exotic vegetation and also enjoy trekking wild animals including elephants and birds. You can also enjoy an elephant safari to explore the flora and fauna here. You stay overnight at the Vythiri Resort.
Day 06 : Wayanad
On your second day at Wayanad you visit the nearby tribal village and a tribal museum. After lunch you can enjoy a 4 km trek to an amazing ancient cave, which provides you an insight into the rich Indian civilization. You stay overnight at the Vythiri Resort.
Day 07 : Cheruthuruthy
Today we drive to Cheruthuruthy, a famous school of traditional art and dance , the Natya Kala Mandalam. Here you can enjoy watching the art and dexterity of local potters and weavers. You stay overnight at the Heritage River Retreat Hotel.
Day 08 : Cochin
In the morning we drive to Cochin. In the afternoon you enjoy sightseeing tour at Fort Cochin. Here you also visit Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty Palace. Then walk through the busy spice markets in the Jew town area. In the evening you can enjoy a Kathakali dance performance. Stay overnight at Fort Heritage Hotel.
Day 09 : Alleppey
Today we drive to Alleppey to enjoy an exotic and memorable ride on the houseboats. The picturesque small town of Alleppey with its exotic charm and awesome and serene surroundings never fails to enchant your mind and soul. Traveling through the coconut fringed canals watching many exotic tourist spots enroute provide you an immense satisfaction. You also enjoy delicious meals on board. You stay overnight on the houseboat.
Day 10 : Thottapally
From Alleppey we move towards Thottapally. After breakfast you disembark your houseboat and we drive to Kovalam. Visit enroute Haripad Subramanian Snake Temple that houses about 500 snake statues. You stay overnight at Kovalam Beach Resort.
Day 11 : Kovalam
You can relax at Kovalam during the day or try a relaxing and body-soothing Ayurvedic massage at the Ayurveda resort here. You stay overnight at Kovalam Beach Resort.
Day 12 : Trivandrum
In the last leg of your Kerala Cultural Tour you depart for the Trivandrum airport to catch a flight for onward journey or your way back home.
